Foundation Report Notes Lack of Data on Child Poverty


The KidsCount report, issued annually by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, highlights the need for better tracking and analyzing for trends in childhood poverty. The report suggests strengthening efforts by the Federal Government to update its management of data gathering during the upcoming 2010 census, and resist the temptation to cut data collecting and analysis costs during the current recession.
